I just love your stories and pictures, both foreign and familiar, seen from the “Old Europe”. The above picture for example, could have been taken on the island in Brittany where I go back every year for holidays – Belle Ile – http://www.belle-ile.com/france/cadrefr.htm. I am coming here often, I had a look at the maps to see where you are exactly, I am traveling each time I open this window. Thank you!

The website for Belle Ile has so many glimpses of that place — so gorgeous, but all the photos are so small! But, you know what? I did a Google image search, and look! Tons of Belle Ile photos!

We're baaaaack!

We're not quite sure how it happened, but Belly Timber took a year-long hiatus. Yes, it was agony. The cats sought their revenge by clawing our rugs and peeing in our shoes. Sometimes, we went days without cooking and our kitchen appeared frighteningly clean. Shameful, shameful indeed.
