Oh lord, I hope not!

Despite the fact that I will be "certifiably insane" (Owen's words, not mine) for the month of November, I will attempt to write at least one more installment in the next couple of weeks. Feel free to nag me if I don't. ;-)

Hey, thanks, Gracianne! True, true. I hope -- when I've a chance to continue this -- that I can maintain the sense of making the best of things, despite all setbacks. (Of course since I'm making this all up, I should be able to do that. Then again, I'm a feeling I'll forget very important details. But that's in part what this is about: discovering one's preparedness -- or lack thereof -- by imagining being in the thick of it!)

Hey Owen: It would be, but I don't think I could sustain it for 50,000 words. Oy! No, my novel is historical fantasy, actually, set back in the day when everyone knew how to cure meat or they'd be in big trouble! :-)

This is so good, I can't wait for Part II. There is something really true in the "Could be worse", it is one of the best way to fight whenever something dramatic happens.
