We're not quite sure how it happened, but Belly Timber took a year-long hiatus. Yes, it was agony. The cats sought their revenge by clawing our rugs and peeing in our shoes. Sometimes, we went days without cooking and our kitchen appeared frighteningly clean. Shameful, shameful indeed.

What is that place? It’s gorgeous. Nice dog, too. ;+)
Hey B’gina,
The pup’s temple is called “Afterglow Vista” and is located in the woods outside of Roche Harbor on the north end our island.
Here’s the Roche Harbor website with another picture. Roche has a really interesting history. It used to be a company mining town, owned by a family of Masons. John McMillin, the patriarch, built this mausoleum for his family back in the late 1800s. Each of the chairs around the table is carved with a McMillin family member’s name, their affiliations, and various mystic symbols. One of these days I want to get up there with a video camera and film a spooky home movie. :-)
Spooky picture, especially with the black dog (which by itself is beautiful but in this picture just makes it spooky.
Thanks, John. It’s a spooky place! (And the dog may look spooky here, but trust me, she is too silly to ever be spooky.)
