I've finally got my dinner scheduled. You're not headed to Porttown the end of August, are you? We're only a bit more than an hour away and you'd be welcome to come have more Pinotage! Besides, I think you know an old friend of someoneElse's (Porttown actors) so we should trade names.

Nun's farts! That's brilliant!

The rosette recipe is from Joy of Cooking and the only thing I do to change it is add a little bit of fresh lemon juice for flavor. Next time I make them I'll do a step-by-step photo how-to, as there are a few tricks to getting them just right. (Not that I always succeed at that!)

Thanks for the slide-show, what a great party! I love your Chef outfits.
I am interested in the rosettes recipe, they look like some kind of fried dumplings we had when I was small, and I never found the recipe since. We used to call them "pets de nonnes" - nun's farts.

It was a good time, Kalyn! I'm sorry your woefully dry state of Utah won't allow you your own Geek Dinner.

And thank you for posting it, Andrew!

Sounds like a great time. I'll have to tell my brother that Hugh's dinner idea is creating good times everywhere.
