They tell us the second one is the cotton anniversary. We’re thinking of getting each other t-shirts or dish towels, but surely we can find something more exciting in cotton!

We're not quite sure how it happened, but Belly Timber took a year-long hiatus. Yes, it was agony. The cats sought their revenge by clawing our rugs and peeing in our shoes. Sometimes, we went days without cooking and our kitchen appeared frighteningly clean. Shameful, shameful indeed.

Awwwww…that’s so cute! Congratulations!! Let’s see, cotton…cotton…I’m sure there’s a french maid outfit laying around here somewhere I could send you for Chopper to try on… he he he…
Hey, congrats. Also, very fun seeing the photo of you smooching.
Cotton anniversary?
What a fascinating modern age we live in!
Congratulations, and thanks for sharing. Arrgh!
OHhhhh. That is the sweetest picture! LOVE it!
Congrats too. Cotton robes are always nice…
Congrats, you happy couple you. And quite handsome. And timeless.
Thanks, everyone! I think Michelle wins the cotton suggestion. :-)
I don’t know if it involves cotton or not, but Chopper tells me he’s got something sekrit planned for Wednesday. He had to work tonight so our celebration is postponed. Well, except for the part where I took him over to my work today and bought him a (thankfully not cotton) paella pan. Mmmm… paella!
Congratulations, vous etes magnifiques et si romantiques!
it looks so romantically gilbert and sullivanesque…
Congratulations! I love this picture and your clothes!
Happy anniversary!
Miz D,
Cotton candy. Apply to naked bodies in stratigic spots, then remove with tongues. And if you want to get kinky (What? You thought the candy was kinky?) have chopper wear pink candy and you wear blue.
Congrats!
What a lovely photo, you two look very much in love. Betcha didn’t know then that by legalizing your union you were taking one step closer to the inspired madness that is Belly-Timber:-) Congratulations. I hope you have loads of fun celebrating.
please post photos of chopper in the french maid’s outfit. Thank you.
Ah, merci, merci everyone, once again!
Kitchenmage, no no, not Gilbert and Sullivan! Go back a bit to the Golden Age of Sail. We ditched the epaulets & the buttons weren’t quite so brass, but Chopper did have a sword! (Oh, he was so very very Jack Aubrey…sigh…)
Kevin, you scare me more and more every day. In a good way, though. I think.
Sam, I hear Photoshop calling my name…
Hey! I’m not the one who wants to see Chopper in a French Maid’s outfit.
Oh, how lovely! You all look so dashing! congratulations, lovebirds.
amish bonnets are cotton, I think. poly cotton blend. You can’t look as dashing as you do in the picture all the tiime.
john conlee says hi to chopper.
Ha – I think Kevin wins! Go for the cotton candy!
Congratulations! I second the robes idea…after the cotton candy.
I am struck by the gorgeous grooms you and Cookiecrumb managed to land. Somehow they are very Kevin Klein at his best (like in his mutable wardrobe in Sophie’s Choice), ready to fill your fantasies for your weddings! Of course the brides are equally fetching and the portraits are so romantic. Congratulations!
Ayun – Chopper sez Cool!
Kudzu: Aha! I did marry the Pirate King! :-)
