We're not quite sure how it happened, but Belly Timber took a year-long hiatus. Yes, it was agony. The cats sought their revenge by clawing our rugs and peeing in our shoes. Sometimes, we went days without cooking and our kitchen appeared frighteningly clean. Shameful, shameful indeed.

Cute kids. Good point.
Care for a marshmallow?
You guys had a totally great parade! If you and Chopper weren’t about to vacate FH, I’d be moving up.
Nice job, Mrs D.
Very powerful. And oh-so-true! Great pictures, I’m jealous of your parade…I’m not even sure we had one here…
Great post. I had been thinking yesterday of the 4th of July parade that took place every year in my small town when I was growing up. Then we’d have an all town potluck picnic. Things like that don’t happen as much in the city:-)
Ah, thanks all, but trust me, I left out the icky parts of the parade.
Not that our parade was at all icky compared to most… we just had a few, er, moments. Even little artist enclaves like this have their neocon types. ::shudder::
OTOH, we do have the most kick-assingly cool Pig War Reenactors. More on that when I get the piccies fixed up. Hee! Oink oink!
Nice pictures, thank you for sharing.
