Not that our parade was at all icky compared to most... we just had a few, er, moments.  Even little artist enclaves like this have their neocon types.  ::shudder::

OTOH, we &lt;i&gt;do&lt;/i&gt; have the most kick-assingly cool Pig War Reenactors.  More on that when I get the piccies fixed up. Hee!  Oink oink!</description>

		<description>Great post. I had been thinking yesterday of the 4th of July parade that took place every year in my small town when I was growing up. Then we&#039;d have an all town potluck picnic. Things like that don&#039;t happen as much in the city:-)</description>
