Our trip was safe and worry-free. As you can see, we crammed our poor belly van quite full (hey, that cat piss was <i>vital!!</i>), <i>and</i> we had Vlad (my old Honda civic) packed to the gills as well, so it was caravan time all the way down I-5, with walkie talkies handy in case of rest stop/dark chocolate emergencies. Now for the reclimatizing. Like, doood, there are discount stores where we can buy things for a dollar! And theaters that show movies in foreign languages! And people around here know what blogs are!
