Thanks, Gracianne! We are enjoying it. There's something nice about a brief respite in a confined space. I know that sounds a little odd, but the lack of belongings, and the proximity of everything (er, well, save for the bathroom and the kitchen) is rather nice. We like having the pets close in, at least!

Thanks Kevin! It's almost home!

CC, oh yes. We wallow in our lounging, we do. Just spend the last three hours watching Agassi's round 2 match. Me happy. Me loves rooting for the sexy bald codger. :-)

Scott: Portland more romantic than England? Say not so! England has been my dream vacation ever since I was a wee tot watching too much BBC.

Thanks, Tea! I'm loving the mad, mad city so far. (And so far we've avoided all rush hour traffic. That helps.)

Thanks Kimberly. We aim to keep lounging as long as we are able, but I should note that it is productive lounging. As in, creative planning & working, but all from our loungy little cave.

Kitchenmage! Did we miss the shindig? Aiieee! I meant to email you, but I'm a space cadet of the third degree. We will most definitely have to plan a river/dinner excursion of some sort soon.

You're Welcome, Melissa! It's odd -- my BlogDay post went up and then vanished into "private" mode for over an hour and I've no idea why. It's back now. (Phew!) I'm looking forward to exploring many of your great global blog links. What a great site that is!

There's something romantic in the notion of Portland to me.
But then I'm from England, a country too small with too many people.
Oh well!
Enjoy the drinks.
