Crafts may also include: knitting needles and crochet hooks (so much fun to knaw on!), pom poms (cat toy!), lovely paper of all kinds (ooh, crunchy sounds), thread (wrap some around your tail and run through the house with joy!), glue (hint: avoid this), beads (they rattle ever so fetchingly across the floor), stuffing (loads of fun to claw and pull apart) and even….dare I say it….leather (ah, the pouncing possibilities here!).

I have all of this on good authority from our new kitten. She likes the tiny bamboo knitting needles the best, especially when I’m oblidging her by moving them around quickly with yarn.

Invisible paint! Invisible brushes! invisible Tonka Trucks and Hudson sprayers!

Yep, kitty don’t play well with props.

As for the bento blog: Holy crap! That bento LiveJournal’s got over 1400 friends! Man, I need to put my food in boxes more often. Oh wait. I usually eat lunch at home.
