A caution

Beware the web’s voluminous smile.
Its dewdrops are deceiving.
Its mistress bears the rain with style,
And seldom stops her weaving.

  1. I love that picture and the poem.

I bet it’s fun going through all your old photos and remembering times gone by.

  2. Love the poem and the picture!

  3. Thanks beccy! One of these days I’ll get a negative scanner and then I’ll have four times more work… er, I mean fun!

And thank you, Jen! I’m so sorry my spam blocker is confused about your email address. I would scold it and tell it how to behave, if I knew how.

  4. You’re so brave!! This is amazing, poetry on the fly! or.. should I say spider?

  5. Hah! Thanks, Anna. I should note that in 49 entries I was only brave enough to write one poem. When it takes me 20 minutes to come up with four lines that rhyme and I’ve still got a photo to upload… hah. Can’t do that trick more than once!
