Figgy Dowdy is the name of an antiquated pagan well on Carn Marth Hill, in the Duchy of Cornwall and noted for its reviving properties and I guess others have already commented on the Holy Bucket song lyrics which extoll the virtues of the puddings for cure all;.

A bit late to the game here, but fyi... the jug o' water idea is great for saving water, it's not really great for feeding to anyone. The warmer the water is, the more it's able to leach various, uh, "stuff" from your pipes, which is not meant for consumption. This is particularly an issue with older plumbing.

Very creative. I'd love to have seen somebody actually biting the head off one of the fish while eating your creation. I'd dare anyone to do it. Anyway, I can get them at a local Asian food store, so I might have fun making it and presenting them to some unsuspecting guests. See which of them is game enough!
